Thriving in leadership is possible.
If you are tired of dreading difficult conversations, second-guessing your decisions, or worrying you aren't doing enough, even though you're an accomplished professional, you are in the right place.
Through trauma-informed leadership coaching, I can help you:
✅  Communicate clearly in every setting, even when there's a risk of conflict or criticism, so you can command respect and empower your people to resolve their own conflicts.
✅  Trust yourself as a leader, so you can own your seat at the table, address problematic behavior on your team, and stop worrying that you said or did the wrong thing.
✅ Transform the limiting beliefs and behavior patterns that derail so many leaders, so you can lead with confidence and credibility in high-stakes moments.
âś…Â Tap into the wisdom of your nervous system, your emotions, and your intuition, so you can lead with your full, fantastic self and enjoy your life outside of work.
You deserve a career that's both successful and sustainable.
And you can have it.

We might be a fit if this sounds familiar...
You’re a healthcare director or executive who spends 10-12 hours a day putting out fires, sitting in back-to-back meetings, and trying to hold your team and yourself together.Â
By noon, you’ve fielded two interpersonal dramas among colleagues and corrected an error in another leader’s report so it wouldn't reflect poorly on your department.
You’re called "resilient," “collaborative,” and “calm under pressure,” but you're collapsing under the weight of everyone’s expectations, trying not to come across as...
- too vague or too direct,
- too indecisive or too quick to act,
- too impersonal or too emotional.
You aspire to bring people together with your leadership, but instead communication breaks down all around you. Team members...
- blowup in meetings,
- gossip about each other instead of resolving conflicts, and
- expect you to make up for their missed targets and patient complaints.
You want to be the leader who aligns everyone with a larger vision, who communicates clearly so everybody knows where they stand, performs at a high level, and creates a culture of safety for everyone, especially patients.
So you’ve probably already done the leadership development programs, read the books, and maybe even worked with a coach or therapist, but you’re caught in patterns that leave you reactive, exhausted and wondering if "this is just the way it is" for leaders in healthcare (it doesn't have to be!).Â
You don't just want to improve your communication skills, strengthen your leadership presence, and deepen your emotional intelligence.Â
You want to understand and transform what's really driving those patterns, so you can...
- restore your energy,
- build high-performing teams,
- thrive in your career, and
- stop stressing about every difficult conversation.
In my experience of coaching 500+ leaders
and clinicians, here’s what I know:
You can have all of that.
And you can have it without changing who you are.Â
Â
Leadership coaching with me is most effective when there’s alignment in timing, expectations, and approach. We might not be a fit if:
- You don’t currently have the time, budget, or bandwidth to engage fully in the program, including regular coaching sessions and reflection or practice between sessions.
- You are looking for purely intellectual or academic leadership development, without guidance to build self-awareness and emotional intelligence in real-world situations.
- You are not ready to consider how protective patterns, (such as people-pleasing, avoiding difficult conversations, dominating, or over-functioning), may be shaping your leadership.
- You want a coach who will agree with your limitations or defend the stories you tell yourself about why things “have to be this way,” rather than helping you expand what’s possible.
This program supports senior leaders in communicating effectively, remaining steady under pressure, and leading confidently during high stakes moments.
Clients benefit most when they bring curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to look at what’s shaping their behavior. If that kind of engagement doesn't feel useful or timely for you right now, Leadership Coaching with me may not be the right fit.
Meet Your Coach
I’m Dr. Annie Campanile, former healthcare director, podcast host, and Certified Professional Co-active Coach with 20+ years of experience helping directors and executives in healthcare shift from reactive, stress-driven leadership, to clear, confident, human-centered communication that gets results.Â
I take a trauma-informed, whole person approach to coaching because real, lasting change happens when we stop operating in survival mode and reconnect with our body, our emotions, and our inner wisdom.
This is about more than an intellectual understanding of effective leadership.
🦋  This is about helping you trust yourself, own your voice, and lead in ways that get results and support your well-being. 🦋
I work with a small number of leadership coaching clients at a time, so each person receives the in-depth, personalized support they deserve.Â

What's Included
Ranging from 8 weeks to 6 months
Leadership Coaching is customized to your goalsÂ
and can include:
✨ Beginning with a shared understanding. In our first meeting, we’ll create a coaching agreement so you know exactly how we’ll work together and what support you can count on from me.
✨ Incorporating strategic assessments. Depending on your goals, we might complete a 360 assessment, my Wise Leadership Assessment, stakeholder interviews, the Hogan Assessment, DiSC, or a team culture assessment, to gain insights, enhance your self-awareness, and refine your strategic development plan.
✨ Turning your vision into achievable steps. We’ll translate your goals into concrete actions you can take right away; steps that feel realistic, not overwhelming, and that are aligned with your strategic objectives.
✨ Periodic check-ins with your leader. If it serves your goals, we can invite your leader to a brief coaching alignment conversation every 3-6 months to review progress, share perspectives, and keep expectations clear.
✨ Consults for key messages. When you’re preparing for a difficult communication, you can send me occasional drafts for thoughtful feedback and refinement.
Together, we will tackle challenges,
develop your capabilities,
and create actionable strategies
that drive immediate impact on your leadership.
